What happens at the first appointment?
Your first appointment is designed to help us understand your health story, current concerns, goals, and history. We review symptoms, lifestyle, and any records or labs you bring, then outline next steps for care.
How long is the first visit?
New patients are scheduled for 60 minutes. We want to give you enough time to feel heard and thoroughly evaluated. Our team can help clarify what to expect when scheduling.
What should I bring to my first visit?
To optimize your appointment time, please arrive early. Bring your photo ID, insurance card if applicable, medication and supplement list, and any recent labs or relevant medical records. This helps us make the most of your visit.
Can I come to Vitae for both primary care and more in-depth wellness support?
Yes. Many patients come to Vitae for both routine medical care, acute care visits, annual exams, wellness visits and a more personalized, root-cause approach to ongoing health concerns. We can help guide you.
What if I do not have insurance?
We welcome self-pay patients and offer transparent pricing for many services. We also offer membership options for patients who want more direct access and a more personalized care experience.
How do I know which provider is right for me?
Our team can help match you with the provider or service that best fits your symptoms, goals, and preferences. We work as a team and you can see anyone in the clinic once you are established. While we recommend that you develop a relationship with a primary person, we understand that some personalities are a better fit for certain people in the clinic. Some people work with several practitioners in the office, depending on what concerns need specific expertise.
